i had been dreaming about these little babies all week. except, i didn’t have any apricots, so decided to swap in some sliced almonds.
after making the dough (which was super simple) i spread it out to make a circle, then cut it into little wedges.
i baked it for about 12-15 minutes and they came out just perfect! i’m glad i used mini chocolate chips. i also heated 1/2 cup of chocolate chips in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds, then drizzled it over the top.
my friend traci came over too for breakfast and we decided to make smoothies. we had a malfunction with the blender, so we transferred the goods to the food processor, until we finally got our results! it was a funny mess though.
i also made some omelette’s. i used 2 egg whites and 1 whole egg and added green onions, mushrooms, bell peppers and tomatoes. i also added some shredded white sharp cheddar cheese. it was so delish.
