San Diego bachelorette – Pt. 1

I know this is a little late coming, but hey, I took a lot of pictures. We all did and this really isn’t even the half of it! Shelby had such an amazing bachelorette and we seriously laughed the whole entire time. πŸ™‚

It started with breakfast and mimosas at the airport on Saturday morning.

Danielle painted my nails, Shelby drank (notice Shelby’s “Beyonce” nails on the right?). ‘Twas glorious. πŸ˜‰ The yogurt parfait was actually amazing and we shared a quesadilla. Shanda and Kristen met up soon after and we were on the plane!!

Of course Shelbs and I had to sit next to each other – we get soo motion sick.

We arrived and took a taxi van to the beach house I found and it was so cute. There was a little outdoor shower that looked so tropical and it was perfect because we were so close to the beach and kept getting all sandy.

Nichelle and Anysia had come a day earlier so they met up with us at the house soon after we arrived. After finding a chilling surprise in the closet (dirty boy skivvies!! :/) we decided: time for liquor! We utilized the most of our fridge and freezer I think. πŸ™‚

We were super close to a market, liquor store and a bunch of cute little eateries so we decided to eat this delicious, inexpensive Italian place for lunch.

Shelby and I shared this veggie sub – it was toasted to perfection people. Perfection. We decided to eat outside because, hey, Arizona never gets this weather. It was absolutely gorgeous. But I do have one complaint – there were flies everywhere in San Diego.

After that we walked to the beach for a little, unpacked a few th ings and started making some cocktails! Then it was on to getting ready for the night! πŸ™‚

We went to dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory in downtown San Diego in the Gaslamp District. It was sooo good. I basically ate about 3 loaves of bread, no joke. Ask Nichelle. πŸ˜‰

We ended up on a rooftop bar at The Marriott overlooking the Padres stadium. Randomly, Shelby text her dad a picture of the stadium and who shows up at the club a few minutes later? Yup! Regier dad ready to party! Hilarious. He works in baseball so he was there on business. It was a fun treat to see him! Here are a few photos of the night from my phone. Everyone else has the other ones from the night, so sorry for quality!

After a few hours of dancing we worked out way throughout the rest of the Gaslamp District. The lines were very long though and crowded and after a few places we ended up just cabbing it home. Such a great night!

Check back in the next few days for more pictures and adventures…..

Have a great Tuesday night. I’m about to head to the batting cages (if it doesn’t start raining!) and to the gym, then a yummy Italian dinner with my Italian. πŸ™‚
